In April, 2019 Graycliff Capital Development, LLC announced the development of Waterleaf at Keys Crossing just six miles south of downtown Greenville, SC. The infill site will be developed into a Class A community with 241 units. It will offer residents a lower rental rate than downtown apartments yet feature best-in-class amenities and interiors, all within a convenient ten-minute drive to Greenville’s city center. The location offers residents easy access to interstate highways and proximity to major employers. It is in short proximity to a regional hospital, a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, drug stores, and Haywood Mall, home to well-known brand stores such as Apple and Macy’s. Greenville is a pedestrian-friendly city known for its public trails, green spaces, the culinary arts, and premiere workplaces. In 2017, it was voted the “#3 Small City Destination in the US” by Conde Nast.
The development calls for eight ‘garden-style’ three-story residential buildings, three ‘carriage house’ residential buildings with attached parking, and one clubhouse building. It will also feature a four-story residential building with an elevator, interior corridors, mountain views from select units, and a “Sky Lounge” communal space for residents. The Property will be complemented by luxury amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room, cycling room, co-working spaces, resort-style saltwater pool, outdoor fireplace, outdoor recreational space, and dog park. Interior unit amenities will include granite countertops, faux-wood luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, nine-foot ceilings, custom cabinetry, full-size washer/dryers, and stainless-steel kitchen appliances.
